On Wednesday, 18 February 2026, AMCORP team members attended a one-day professional development program at NED University of Engineering and Technology in Karachi.
The course focused on risk management in construction contracts, with practical sessions on FIDIC-based risk allocation, legal risk analysis, and contract strategy workshops tailored for contractors and engineering teams. Participants explored how contractual structures, clauses, and allocation of responsibilities influence project delivery, claims exposure, and long-term project assurance for complex infrastructure and EPC projects. Learning directly from industry and academia experts helped connect theory to real-world project scenarios, including large-scale construction and general contractor environments.
The session strengthened AMCORP's internal capabilities in contract management, supporting safer, more predictable outcomes on future projects and reinforcing the company’s commitment to continuous learning and governance.
Strengthening Contract Management and Project Governance
AMCORP views contract management as a core project discipline, not an afterthought. The NED University program reinforced how well-structured contracts, clear risk allocation, and documented responsibilities support smoother execution across construction and engineering projects.
Participants deepened their understanding of FIDIC frameworks, legal risk assessment, and negotiation strategies that protect both client and contractor interests throughout a project lifecycle. These skills translate directly to stronger project planning, more accurate pricing, and better managed change events on complex infrastructure and EPC works. By investing in professional development programs, AMCORP helps its teams engage more effectively with clients, consultants, and partners at every stage, building trust and reducing disputes on-site.
Strong projects are built on strong contractual foundations, and this program brought that principle into sharp, practical focus for every participant who attended.

AMCORP will continue sponsoring structured professional development that equips teams with the skills needed across complex construction and engineering environments.
Programs like this one at NED University sharpen governance, improve decision-making under contractual pressure, and raise the bar on how the company delivers for its clients. Continuous learning is not a one-time activity at AMCORP.
It is a standing commitment, fully supported by leadership and reflected in how teams prepare, plan, and perform across every project, from early contract review through to final handover and closeout.

AMCORP achieves 1.3M LTI-free hours, showcasing strong HSE performance at QICT.
