AMCORP Celebrates 50-Year Legacy of Liaquatabad Subway

The Liaquatabad Subway, built by AMCORP’s founders in 1976, has completed 50 years of continuous service as a critical infrastructure link connecting Karachi's port to the country's upstream routes. The 200-foot underground passage with 40 shops was inaugurated on 21 May 1976 and documented in DAWN at the time, marking a significant achievement in Pakistan's urban infrastructure development.
