Infrastructure Works
2020 - 2021
This project focused on essential civil and finishing works at the Pearl, Reef, and RP-12 Plot Promenade Area within the Crescent Bay development. The coastal location demanded meticulous attention to civil works related to water management and precise finishes suitable for the marine environment. The scope was executed for EMAAR Pakistan, underscoring AMCORP’s role as a trusted partner in complex urban waterfront schemes.
The foundational task involved the replacement and installation of new drainage systems critical for site functionality. This required the removal of existing storm water drains and the laying of new RCC (Reinforced Concrete Cement) Pipes with diameters of 18" and 24". Managing drainage systems effectively in a low-lying coastal zone is crucial for preventing waterlogging and preserving infrastructure integrity.
The construction scope included significant civil execution beyond pipe laying, involving pouring Slab on grade for large promenade sections. The project then transitioned to high-end aesthetic finishes essential for the final presentation of the coastal space.
The specialised finishing works involved applying Pigment Plaster, installing Sill Batta Stone Coping, and the meticulous installation of speciality Terrazzo Casted Tile. This scope ensured the functionality of the stormwater network while achieving the premium aesthetic standards required for a luxury EMAAR development, demonstrating AMCORP's versatility.
The successful execution of the Promenade Works is complemented by AMCORP's involvement in other adjacent projects for EMAAR, including Car Parking Space Works and the Prados Boundary Wall. The Car Parking project involved dismantling roads and installing kerb stones and pavers. The Prados Boundary Wall involved specialised Piling Works, Capping Beam, and Retaining Wall construction.
This cluster of successful projects reinforces the strength of AMCORP's partnership with EMAAR, built on reliable and multi-faceted execution. The ability to manage diverse civil requirements, from deep piling foundations to high-specification promenade finishes, validates AMCORP’s comprehensive capacity to deliver challenging projects to international client standards.
