Foundation Piling and Complex Scope

This project involves the execution of extensive Early Works for the prestigious Park Edge towers, marking another successful collaboration with EMAAR. The scope demanded meticulous precision for foundational stability in a challenging coastal environment. We worked closely with leading consultants and partners, including Costveyor, Pro-Mag, and Ali Arshad Associates, to ensure all technical specifications were met.

The core challenge involved substantial piling works, requiring the execution of 455 piles in total. This included 392 foundation piles and 63 tangent piles, designed to secure the foundation of the high-rise structure. The project required continuous coordination between our engineers and the client's team to ensure flawless execution in line with demanding urban construction standards.

Technical Execution and Quality Assurance

The piling scope involved large-diameter piles ranging from 750 to 1200 mm and reaching impressive depths up to 45 meters. This required specialised equipment and expertise in deep foundation installation. Beyond the piling itself, AMCORP executed complex ancillary works crucial for ground stability and structural support.

These ancillary works included the application of shotcrete, lean concrete, and the installation of geo-textile materials. Furthermore, the project required precise drilling and grouting, the installation of pre-stressed anchors, and the final placement of waller beams. All processes, including excavation and installation, were subject to comprehensive static and dynamic load testing, guaranteeing compliance with the highest quality and safety standards.
