EMAAR Prados Boundary Wall

EMAAR Pakistan awarded AMCORP the Prados Boundary Wall at DHA Canyon Views, Islamabad, involving piling, retaining wall, RCC columns, and brick masonry.

Overview

AMCORP was awarded the Prados Boundary Wall construction at DHA Canyon Views, Islamabad, by EMAAR Pakistan. The work was divided into several key elements, including Piling Works, Capping Beam construction, and the formation of a Retaining Wall.

This project reinforced the trust established by AMCORP through the successful completion of previous EMAAR contracts, notably the Package-1 - 1 Grading project executed amidst COVID-19 disruptions. The scope further included RCC Columns and Brick Masonry for the boundary structure.

Structural Foundation and Geotechnical Scope

The core of the EMAAR Prados Boundary Wall project involved establishing a robust structural foundation suitable for the diverse terrain in DHA Canyon Views. The contract explicitly required Piling Works to ensure deep foundation support, guaranteeing the long-term stability and integrity of the boundary structure against ground movement.

Following the foundation phase, AMCORP proceeded with the construction of the Capping Beam and a Retaining Wall. These engineered elements are critical for stabilising the structure, managing lateral earth pressure, and providing essential soil support along the boundary's alignment.

Comprehensive Civil and Architectural Execution

The final structural appearance was achieved through the completion of two primary visible civil components. This included the meticulous casting of RCC Columns. These reinforced concrete columns provide essential vertical support and the structural skeleton for the wall, ensuring resistance against stresses.

Once the robust RCC framework was complete, the scope concluded with detailed Brick Masonry. This successful blend of heavy civil engineering (piling and retaining walls) and structural building work (columns and masonry) demonstrated AMCORP's capacity for multi-disciplinary delivery on structural and infrastructure packages for EMAAR.

Strategic Client Relationship and Repeat Business

The Prados Boundary Wall award was a direct outcome of profound client confidence developed through AMCORP's performance on prior, large-scale EMAAR contracts. AMCORP initially earned this trust by completing the Canyon Views Package - 1 Grading project, which involved massive earthwork quantities and complex allied structures.

The successful and timely delivery of that initial fast-track project, even amidst COVID-19 disruptions, was pivotal. This proven reliability and commitment led EMAAR to award AMCORP this and two other subsequent packages, establishing a long-term, trusted relationship with one of Pakistan's prominent real estate developers.
