We execute projects with precision, quality, consistency and capacity building.

Execution of the extension for the 132 KV Grid Station, including piling works, MV trenches, new transformer pads, and auxiliary room construction.
AMCORP was awarded the 132 KV Civil Works of Valika Grid Station (Extension) in Karachi. This crucial infrastructure upgrade was managed under the supervision of the EA Consultant and Siemens.
The project involved extensive civil construction specifically for the station's expansion. This included piling works, the creation of new MV trenches, and the extension of the existing 132 KV building. It affirmed AMCORP's continued reliability in the specialised power sector.

Infrastructure Works
2016 - 2019
The primary objective of this project was the execution of the necessary civil works to facilitate the extension of the 132 KV Grid Station. This was a vital infrastructure upgrade within Karachi. The scope involved constructing several new components and modifying existing ones to integrate new electrical equipment.
The structural requirements were complex, necessitating piling works as a foundational element of the expansion. AMCORP's scope also included the construction of three new PTRS (Power Transformer bays or equivalent structures) and the extension of the OLD 132 KV building itself. This demonstrated specialised structural capability within a live power environment.
The expansion mandated the construction of several new utility and auxiliary buildings. AMCORP was responsible for building a New II KV building and creating new MV trenches (Medium Voltage trenches) to accommodate the upgraded cable and power infrastructure.
Furthermore, the project required the construction of a New Capacitor Room and a New Aux Telecom Room. This work required precise coordination to ensure the civil structures were ready for the subsequent specialised electrical and telecom installations. The project successfully managed the extension of the firewall and the MV building extension.
The successful execution of the Valika Grid Station Extension was part of a larger, concurrent engagement AMCORP held with the client and consultants. This consistency in winning and delivering multiple grid station projects, including the Old Golimar and B.O.C. extensions, affirmed AMCORP's technical capacity to manage and deliver complex, high-voltage energy infrastructure projects across multiple sites in Sindh.
The project, completed between 2016 and 2019, reinforced AMCORP's relationship with Siemens and the EA Consultant. This repetition of contracts cemented their standing as a highly reliable and disciplined partner in the crucial power distribution sector.
